This series of paintings is a continuation of the "abstract fusion" series that I started in 2013.  As I progressed with this series, the paintings evolved into increasingly more complicated formats; some accentuate 3D illusions, while others emphasize shapes, colors or designs. The one unifying characteristic of this work is that all the compositions are painted on custom shaped surfaces. Please note that all of these paintings are on one flat surface, and that any semblance of actual depth or 3D is an intended illusion.

All of these oils are painted on MDF (medium density fiberboard) and float frameless, with a recessed support system, 1" from the wall. They have painted 1/4" edges and durable gloss varnishes.
