The following are selections from my previous series of oil paintings. They are geometric abstracts that fall into a broader category known as "Neo Geo" (New Geometry). My lifetime fascination with mathematics, geometry and physics led me towards this particular direction.

The main thrust of this series is to challenge the nature of the viewer's visual perception. Many of these paintings question our ability to accurately evaluate the physical attributes of objects, as well as the relationship of objects to each other. Repeated elements are also a common theme in these compositions ... the repetition of elements can be profoundly meditative. Additionally, all the paintings in this series include enhanced 3-D effects.

All of these oils are painted on MDF (medium density fiberboard) and float frameless, with a recessed support system, 1" from the wall. They have painted 1/4" edges and durable gloss varnishes.
