These images were completed around the middle of my Roadside Americana series. Most of these images have noticeable Southwest themes, although a few of them began to resemble other 1950's and 60's Americana.

I've included in this group some of my shaped paintings, where I cut the masonite into custom shapes with a jigsaw. That series proved to be very time consuming, and after completing around 10 or 12 of them, I happily transitioned back to painting on standard rectangular or square surfaces.
